About Astro
Six-year-old Astro is a lovable, cuddly sweetheart who is always the center of attention. He announces his arrival with loud meows and loves to play. He never misses the chance to curl up in his guardian Cameron’s lap after a long day, purring triumphantly.
Recently, Cameron noticed a strange mass at the base of Astro’s tail and rushed him to the vet. The news was devastating; the mass is a cancerous tumour that needs to be removed as soon as possible. Cameron lives in single room occupancy housing on a low income, and is struggling to gather the funds needed for this urgent surgery.
“I love him like he’s my child, and I wish this pain to be over. I’ve never had such an emotionally supportive cat like him before and I’m not ready to lose him yet,” Cameron shared.
Astro’s prognosis is very good with surgery. He deserves comfort and many more years with the person who loves him like family.
