About Diesel

Five-year-old Diesel is sweet, cuddly and his guardian Lauren's best friend. Diesel loves life with Lauren and spends his days playing, running, and eating. He can be trusted to eagerly investigate every puddle and snack he comes across and is so proud to be called a good boy.  

Diesel and Lauren are inseparable. When Diesel developed an inflamed and worrying lump on his body, Lauren was quick to notice and took him to the vet right away. There it was determined that Diesel's lump would need to be urgently removed. 

Lauren can't imagine life without her big, best buddy by her side, and is sick with worry for him. Lauren is trying to make it all work while living on a low-income and does not have enough funds to spare for Diesel's surgery. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for help.  

Diesel has many more good years of playing, eating, and cuddling ahead of him.
