Duke’s worried guardian, Garv, rushed him to the vet after he stopped eating. While Duke is still drinking water, he continues to vomit and grow more lethargic. 

The vet believes Duke may have a blockage in his intestines that will require urgent surgery to save his life. Without it, this gentle boy is at serious risk. 

Garv recently underwent heart surgery himself and is living with a disability. He has done everything possible to care for Duke, even offering to sell his own vehicle to try to cover the veterinary costs. “I would be so grateful for your help in saving my baby,” Garv shared with the VHS team. 

Garv told the VHS, “We rescued Duke from somebody that had neglected him. He was so skinny when we met him.” Since then, Garv has given him a safe and loving home. Now Duke urgently needs help to survive.
