My cat, Moko, went through this painful process herself. I've seen well how surgery can help ease that pain. Good luck!

About Hecate

Five-year-old Hecate is a cherished companion to her guardian, Kennedy. As Kennedy entered adulthood from government care without family support or a safety net, Hecate and her brother were her family, comfort, and constant emotional support.

“Hecate is a very sweet girl,” Kennedy shared. “She yells at you when it’s past her bedtime, sprints to bed when she sees you coming, and always ends up on my lap when I’m studying.”

Recently, Hecate was diagnosed with painful tooth resorption and urgently needs dental surgery to remove two teeth and stop her pain from worsening. This condition is common in cats, has no known prevention method, and is extremely painful. Without treatment, it can quickly impact her ability to eat, groom, and enjoy her daily life.

With no family to turn to and no funds to spare while in university, Kennedy is doing everything possible to care for Hecate but cannot afford this urgent surgery alone. Facing the possibility of watching her beloved cat continue to suffer has been overwhelming and frightening.

Can you donate today to help Hecate get the urgent dental surgery she needs and stay with the young person who loves her? Your generosity will help keep this small family together and give Hecate relief from pain so she can eat normally and live many more healthy, happy years.
