Jennifer is a single mother doing everything she can to care for her son and their beloved pets. After leaving an abusive relationship, she has worked tirelessly to build a safe and loving home.  

When Jack, their sweet 7-year-old Havanese, suddenly developed a painful swelling on his eye, Jennifer rushed him to the vet. The vet confirmed Jack also has an ear infection, which has been recurring since earlier this year.  

Jack will need surgery to remove the mass on his eye and treatment for his ear. 

Jennifer shared, “My son and I love our animals. They bring us so much love and comfort, but things are really, really tight right now. I don’t know what is wrong with Jack’s eye, and I am so worried for him.” 

Jennifer cannot afford this costly surgery on her own and has reached out to the VHS’s McVitie Fund for help.
