About Marley

Jacynta has been closely monitoring her dear cat Marley's behaviour since she began vomiting a few days ago. When Marley stopped eating and drinking altogether, Jacynta rushed her friend to the animal hospital. Veterinarians have recommended urgent IV fluids to treat Marley’s dehydration, medication, and testing to determine the cause of Marley’s suffering and get her back to health. 

Jacynta has had Marley in her life for ten years, since she was just sixteen herself. "She's the sweetest, funniest and most loving kitty I've ever had the pleasure of knowing," Jacynta told the VHS. "She loves running around the house and meowing loudly during her daily zoomies. She always knows when I'm feeling sad and doesn't hesitate to snuggle right into me to pull me out of any mental health struggles I'm going through." 

Living on disability, Jacynta is unable to afford Marley's care and reached out to the VHS for help. "It is breaking my heart knowing she's unwell, is potentially in pain and that I can't afford the care that she needs. I don't want to lose her. She means absolutely everything to me - I am extremely desperate for help," Jacynta said.
