Theo's heart sank when his usually playful dog, Navi, suddenly lost all interest in her toys and food. He rushed his best friend to the vet, terrified he would lose her. There, vets performed testing on Navi that determined she is suffering from pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterine lining. To stop the potentially fatal infection, Navi will need urgent surgery.  

Theo previously rescued Navi from a neglectful situation where she was being kept in a locked basement without access to food or water. Though Theo wasn't living in a pet-friendly place at the time, he immediately moved so Navi would have a safe and comfortable home with him. Since then, the two have been inseparable. Navi loves to go to work with Theo, destroy toys, and befriend everyone she meets. "She's everyone's favourite dog. Mine especially," Theo said.
