Sassy was a feral kitten when she forged a bond with Vicki who eventually took her in and adopted her. In the three years since, the two have been inseparable companions. Sassy is now a sweet and loving indoor cat who loves cuddling Vicki.  

Unfortunately, Sassy has been experiencing some discomfort and an initial vet appointment revealed that she is suffering from pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterine lining. The surgery is quite costly and despite pooling all her savings, it is more than Vicki is able to afford on her limited income. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
