When Kendra noticed Sophie's sudden dip in energy and appetite, she rushed her to the vet. There, vets tested Sophie's blood and found she is suffering from pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterine lining. To stop the infection, Sophie will need urgent surgery. 

Kendra describes darling Sophie as her baby. Caring for Sophie has helped give Kendra the confidence to carry on through the most difficult times and the pair share a deep bond. Losing Sophie would be devastating.  

Kendra was able to get together just enough funds for Sophie's initial testing, but being off work on medical leave, she has nothing left to spend on Sophie's life-saving surgery. With your support, Sophie will quickly return to health and back into Kendra's loving arms.
