Delilah is a young Rottweiler with a heart full of love. After being abandoned by her previous guardian, she recently found her forever home with Maddie and her fur-brother Koda.  

After noticing signs of pain and lameness in her hind legs, Maddie took Delilah to the vet for X-rays. There, the vet found that Delilah has been living with torn ACLs in both her back legs, likely for most of her life.  

Maddie told the VHS, “She is one tough cookie as she’s been pushing through the pain and discomfort for who knows how long.” Maddie shared, “I’m so lucky she came into my life, she’s amazing and she’s quickly become part of the family.”  

Delilah now needs urgent double TPLO surgery to regain her declining mobility and live without pain. 

Maddie has just returned to work from medical leave. She has been trying hard to save by working extra shifts but is unable to cover the full cost of Delilah’s surgery.
