    I hope Shikela will get better soon... I lost my 13 year old American bully a few months ago, Shikela looks like my dog... sending my prayers oxox

About Shikela

Shikela is a loyal and loving 6-year-old dog who urgently needs medical attention. When her guardian, Tanya, noticed there was blood in her urine, she immediately took her to the vet. After a thorough examination, it was determined that Shikela will require further testing and medication to properly diagnose and treat the underlying problem. 

Tanya is a single- mother of four. Shikela’s presence has been a source of comfort and joy for the whole family since the children were young, always there to care and watch over them. 

Tanya has always done her best to ensure her family’s well-being. However, the unexpected financial cost of Shikela’s medical care has put a significant strain on her financial resources. With limited means, she is struggling to afford the necessary treatments to restore Shikela’s health. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for help.
