About Toto

Toto is a remarkable service dog who has brought endless joy and companionship into the life of his beloved guardian, James. Together, they navigate life’s challenges and support each other every step of the way. Unfortunately, Toto has recently sustained a severe injury and needs help getting urgent medical attention. 

While off-duty, Toto was chasing his frisbee and sadly stepped on a sharp object, causing severe injury to his paw. James acted swiftly and rushed Toto to the nearest vet where it was determined that urgent wound repair surgery is needed to ensure Toto can walk pain-free and without discomfort in the future. 

As James is on disability assistance, the financial burden of this necessary procedure is overwhelming. That is why he has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
