About Valentine

Sweet young Valentine has already faced so much hardship in his young life. At just four months old, Valentine developed an ear infection. It has come back repeatedly despite countless vet visits, antibiotics, and medication. Now, the infection has spread so deep that he is experiencing neurological deficits. He is having trouble walking, in serious pain, and without treatment he would be at risk death. 

The vet has recommended surgery to remove the inner ear canal to restore Valentine’s ability to walk and live a wholesome, fulfilled life. 

His guardian, Maya, loves him dearly and has exhausted every avenue possible over the last year to ensure that Valentine is taken care of. The surgery that will save his life is beyond her means which is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for help.
