Dante is a sweet young cat who has brought immense joy to Lorraine and her kids after a period of hardship. After noticing that Dante was struggling to urinate, Lorraine took him in for a check-up where initial testing revealed that he has a urinary obstruction. Left untreated, urinary obstructions can quickly become fatal.  

Lorraine is a single mother building her life anew. Her very limited funds were exhausted on Dante’s initial checkup and testing, and she is now unable to afford the costly surgery required to save his life. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
