Tosha is a sweet young kitten who recently moved to Canada with his family. In the midst of settling into his new home, Tosha has stopped eating and now fallen ill. At first, his guardian Carly believed it to be due to changes in his environment. Two days later, Carly noticed changes in Tosha’s behaviour—his usual playful personality turned withdrawn.

Carly rushed Tosha to the vet where it was determined that he would need to be hospitalized and given IV fluids to treat the dehydration, as well as bloodwork and X-rays to determine the cause of his decline. Carly has always done her best to set funds aside to make sure Tosha is well taken care of. However, having just begun to settle into her new life in a new country, she is unable to afford the full cost of the care Tosha now requires. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
