Nora was quick to take her beloved little dog, Bandit, to the vet when he seemed to be in pain and couldn't eat properly. There it was determined that Bandit is suffering from a severe tooth infection and will need dental surgery as soon as possible to stop the infection from spreading and becoming potentially life-threatening. 

Nora has shared her life with Bandit for nine years and has always deeply loved him. When Nora's son passed away suddenly a couple of years ago, Bandit was there for Nora in her grief. He has been her best source of emotional support in the years since. "He’s only 7 lbs., but my biggest love. I don’t know what I would do without his licks and snuggles, we always check on each other no matter what," Nora told the VHS. "I don’t have the words to describe the unconditional love and affection this little creature possesses. I am honoured to be his mom." 

Nora is doing everything she can to get back on her feet after her son's passing but isn't able to work consistently and can't afford Bandit's surgery. Terrified of losing her dearest friend, Nora reached out to the VHS for help.
