About Apollo

Apollo is a curious young cat who loves playing with his four human siblings. Sadly, he accidentally got out of the house and was missing overnight. His family spent the night looking for him and by the next morning, Apollo was able to find his way back home; but all was not well. 

Apollo has a severely injured leg from his scary escape. His guardian, Allison, rushed him to the vet where they cleaned up the wound and did some X-rays. Apollo’s leg is too severely injured and will need to be amputated. Without this life-saving surgery, Apollo risks severe infection and other health complications. 

Allison does everything she can to ensure her four children, dog, and Apollo all live a happy life. The cost of the surgery exceeds what Allison is able to afford from her emergency fund. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
