About Bugsy

Bugsy, the super handsome and dearly loved companion of his papa, Trevor, urgently requires eye surgery to save his life. Last year, Bugsy faced a traumatic incident when he was attacked by a much larger dog, leaving him with a serious eye injury. Despite their financial struggles, Trevor was able to ensure that Bugsy received the necessary veterinary care, including antibiotics, which helped for a time. 

Recently, however, Bugsy’s eye took a turn for the worse. A persistent infection resurfaced, forming a dangerous bump on the surface. Concerned for Bugsy’s well-being, Trevor rushed him to the vet where a heartbreaking diagnosis was made—Bugsy’s eye needs to be surgically removed to prevent the bump from rupturing. Without this critical surgery, the only option would be euthanasia. 

Trevor has faced the harsh realities of low- income living and homelessness, and through it all, has put Bugsy's needs first. Now, just as they have found secure, supportive housing together, Bugsy requires this extensive veterinary care to continue living his happy life with Trevor.
