Six years ago, Carl welcomed Lenny into his life. Through life-threatening health struggles and surgery, Lenny has never left Carl’s side. He has travelled across Canada with Carl and become his constant companion. “He’s my hero and I love him with my whole heart,” Carl told the VHS team. 

Now Lenny needs urgent help. Lenny is suffering from a painful urinary blockage. He is vomiting, crying, peeing in unusual places, and too uncomfortable to be touched. Carl has taken Lenny to the vet for emergency treatment and medications for a previous urinary blockage, but now Lenny’s symptoms have returned. 

Carl is desperate to ease his best friend’s suffering, but he cannot afford the full cost of another emergency veterinary visit and life-saving treatment.
