About MooMoo

MooMoo has been by her guardian Michelle’s side since she was just a kitten. With her distinctive black and white markings and gentle nature, MooMoo quickly became family. “She is my whole world, and I would do absolutely anything for her,” Michelle shared.

But MooMoo is now facing a heartbreaking diagnosis. When painful, bleeding blisters appeared on her foot, Michelle rushed her to the vet. Despite weeks of treatment, the wounds didn’t heal, and MooMoo was referred for further testing. X-rays and bloodwork later revealed a tumour in MooMoo’s leg, and vets have determined that the leg must be amputated.

Michelle is living on a low income and has spent all of her savings on MooMoo’s veterinary care over the past few months. That’s why she reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society’s McVitie Fund for help. “MooMoo has been through so much. I just want her to be happy and pain-free again.”

Can you donate today to help MooMoo get the surgery she needs?

All gifts to the McVitie Fund are currently being matched up to $25,000, that means your donation will go twice as far to help pets like MooMoo return home to the people who love them.
