About Dexter

Sweet young Dexter was unfortunately attacked by two other dogs while playing, leaving him with severe wounds and deep lacerations. His guardian Anna immediately cleaned Dexter’s wounds, but to heal fully he requires surgery and hospitalization. 

Anna is a hardworking mother striving to provide a good life for her children and their beloved family member, Dexter. However, the unexpected and overwhelming cost of Dexter’s required care has thrown Anna into a situation that is beyond her financial means. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
