About Rosie

Sweet young Rosie is facing some serious health struggles and needs urgent treatment. When Rosie started showing signs of lethargy and lack of interest in food, her guardian, Angus, took her to the vet where she was treated with IV fluids and sent back home. 

A few days later, Rosie began exhibiting the same symptoms as before, vomiting and having incontinence. Angus rushed her back to the vet where they diagnosed her with anorexia and dehydration. She is currently receiving IV fluids yet again and requires further testing to determine the root cause of her health struggles. 

Angus used the last of his savings for her initial vet bills, including IV fluid treatment. He cannot afford the costly testing and treatment that Rosie will require and has contacted the Vancouver Humane Society for support. 

Angus told the VHS that “Rosie is usually very playful and vocal” and he is desperate to help her return to her happy self.
