About Skoden

Skoden is a brave young pup who recently experienced a great tragedy. While out on her daily walk with her guardian, Lela, a reckless driver sped through an active crosswalk and injured Skoden. 

Lela rushed Skoden to the vet where she received immediate care, including IV fluids and pain medication. However, Skoden still needs crucial bloodwork, an ultrasound, and an X-ray to assess the full extent of her injuries. 

Lela is a devoted guardian who has always gone above and beyond to provide Skoden with a happy and healthy life. She even keeps funds set aside for unforeseen circumstances like this. However, the severity of this incident has left her emergency fund depleted. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for help.
