Sweet Grace is a senior dog who has been by Veronica’s side since she was a young pup. Recently, Veronica noticed some unusual lumps on Grace’s body, prompting a visit to the vet. Diagnostic testing revealed that the masses are cause for concern, and that Grace will need a double mastectomy to remove the tumors and limit the chance of future tumors.  

Veronica carefully sets aside money for emergencies but unfortunately the cost of Grace’s care is far beyond what she is able to afford. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
