About Pouts

Pouts is a lively young kitten who has recently fallen ill and lost her sparkle. Her guardian, Cassidy, noticed that she was not behaving like her usual self, followed by a disinterest in food and sudden weight loss.

Cassidy rushed Pouts to the vet where they determined that she is suffering from pancreatitis and severe dehydration. She was treated with IV fluids and sent home to recover. Sadly, Pouts continued to decline and again requires in-hospital treatment, including medication and further IV fluids.

Pancreatitis is a serious condition in cats that can become life-threatening if not properly treated; and there is no effective way to prevent it. Cassidy does everything she can to ensure that Pouts lives a happy and fulfilled life, including setting aside funds for emergencies, but this fund was depleted after the initial treatment. She has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.

Can you donate today to help Pouts get the care she needs to return to her bubbly self and live many more happy years with Cassidy?
