About Killian

Killian is currently facing a life-threatening health struggle with a severe urinary blockage. A few days ago, his guardian, Helen, noticed a change in his behaviour and sudden lethargy. She rushed Killian to the vet where initial testing found a severe, life-threatening urinary blockage. 

Killian requires urgent treatment in the form of catheterization, IV fluids, and medication, as well as another blood test to monitor his progress and response to treatment. 

Helen is a loving guardian of an adult daughter as well as Killian and the family shares a deep bond. Helen does everything she can to ensure the well-being of her family. Unfortunately, she used up all her remaining funds for Killian’s initial testing and cannot afford the costly treatment. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
