About Lily

Sweet six-year-old Lily recently started experiencing some health issues, including drinking more water and urinating more than usual. Her guardian Reece was keeping a close eye on her, and when he noticed she was having unusual discharge, he rushed her to the vet immediately. After conducting some tests, the vet was able to determine that all of Lily’s symptoms were due to a pyometra infection. Pyometra is a life-threatening infection that affects female dogs. It occurs when the uterus becomes infected and fills with pus. Without urgent treatment, this condition can be fatal. 

Lily and Reece share an unwavering bond and she has always been by Reece’s side through all the ups and downs of life. Now, Reece is doing everything he can to ensure the health and safety of his loyal companion, including reaching out to the Vancouver Humane Society for help with the costly surgery Lily urgently needs.
