About Lucky

Lucky is a sweet kitten who urgently needs medical attention. After noticing that Lucky’s behaviour seemed unusual, his guardian Mary took him to the vet where X-rays revealed that he has an intestinal obstruction, most likely as a result of swallowing a small foreign object. 

The vet initially kept Lucky under observation to see if the obstruction would pass on its own. After monitoring his condition, the vet has determined that it would be in Lucky’s best interest to surgically remove the obstruction. 

The surgery that Lucky needs will cost Mary’s entire monthly income, leaving her with the impossible choice to save her beloved companion or feed and care for her family. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for support.
