About Marcel

Sweet four-year old cat Marcel is unfortunately facing life-threatening complications from a urinary blockage and needs immediate help. 

When his guardian, Ivanna, noticed that he hadn’t been urinating as regularly as usual, she rushed him to the vet. There, they discovered a possible urinary blockage and Marcel was promptly admitted for intensive care, receiving medication and IV fluids. 

Despite the dedicated efforts of the veterinary team, Marcel’s condition took a turn for the worse. He began urinating blood, signaling a deeper, more complex issue. The situation has become dire, and Marcel requires urgent, specialized treatment. 

Ivanna is a devoted guardian who always prioritizes Marcel’s well-being. She has diligently set aside funds for emergencies, ensuring Marcel’s safety and happiness. However, the extent of Marcel’s health complications has surpassed her financial capacity. That is why she has reached out to the Vancouver Humane Society for help.
